Heading to Thailand on May 3 and will spend a few days in BKK and the remaining week in Samui and phuket. If anyone have a similar plan let's meet up.

Thanks Coss. The last time I visited BKK was in 2001 and there were some nice bars on Soi 33 are those bars still there?

 

Actually I was looking to do some Islands hopping around Phuket and if time allows would like to stop by Samui.

The so-called painter bars (named after artists)? Still there, still nice, still a bit expensive.

In 2001 there would probably have been about 10 bars on Soi 33. There's probably about 30 now!
