Haha, yeah, except the "orange juice" available in most bars and restaurants in Thailand is that crappy, sugary, watered-down stuff that's about 10% real juice! The stuff they sell on the street carts, on the other hand, yummy! Especially when they put a touch of salt in it!

Oh, I would never want them to do anything they don't want to do! Which is why, for example, I never ask them to do anything other than straight, boring sex...I wait until THEY suggest the kinky stuff. Granted, I have a knack for picking the ones that will suggest in the first place, haha.

 

But I also don't *just* want someone to screw for the night, I want someone to have a good time with, and part of that for me when I'm out in BKK is having a drinking buddy.

 

If they're not a drinker--at least a "social" one--I will most likely pass them by for someone else. No harm done to anyone.

I remember a night at Long Gun. My friend, who speaks excellent Thai, was ordering rounds. He was interested in a deckserve who didn't like alcohol. Every time she brought us drinks, he'd suck down her cola and send her back to get another round and try again with a 'proper' drink for herself.

 

It was pretty funny, kept her busy for many rounds before tasting any kind of lady drink. I don't think he ever got her to taste alcohol, but she did stay with him for a few days.

 

Moral of the story being you can lead a horse to water...can't make it drink, but as long as you're drinking, who the fuck cares what she's drinking??

As for alcohol -- a little bit is an excellent social lubricant and has been thus for most of recorded history. Far be it from me to question the wisdom of the gods.

Dave, I couldnt agree more about the porn part : many of us go to SE Asia looking for something that comes close to what we've seen onscreen but, in my experience, it only rarely eclipses that level of intensity and is often pretty bloody boring. In my case, it has been a surprise on each occasion (the quiet girl who goes off is my personal fave), but the starfish seem to outnumber those who seem to actually realise that sex is about more than getting the guy to come. Particularly unimpressed with the 'near virgin' BGs I encountered early on during my last trip to Pattaya - much more timid than anything I have ever encountered on Soi 4.

 

The porn gals are paid to look like they actually enjoy it - so are the BGs, but they just arent as convincing for mine.
