Lusty
Is it possible? http://www.backyardgardener.com/tmimages08/280/7/733.jpg
Old Hippie
Try it...I thought you meant eggplants...you can grow anything anywhere if you can duplicate the conditions...maybe you need to employ some of the techniques used by dope growers...such as tents with controlled climates...grow lights etc...I actually grew Thai chillies in my apartment, using grow lights... Coss
Wouldn't chilies grown outdoors in SF? Seems temperate enough to me? Or have you converted one of your rooms to a farm? Can I visit?
Redbaron
I'd think so, I grew them in Melbourne, oz, which I guess has similar, if not colder conditions to california
Flashermac
Looks like a giant white radish to me. You can buy the seeds in the US and they are common enough garden veggies. Should grow in England - except in the winter ... p.s. Stay away from LOS long enough and everyone grows mooli.
LizardKing
Oh, it's daikon! Why didn't he just say so?
cavanami
Could grow all year around in the UK, even winter.
