ThaiHome
I need a way to charge my Kindle without plugging into a computer. Amazon sells such devices but it seems they will not ship them to Thailand and I don’t want to go through the hassle of sending them to my mail drop in the US and forwarding them here. Where in Bangkok can I buy such a USB charging device that will can be 100% safe for my Kindle , i.e. Amazon approved. Will any USB charging station be ok? Is there some special spec for the Kindle? Mekong
Try B2S at Central Chidlom, they are the main Kindle distributor in Thailand Specs are 5V 0.85 amp so a Blackberry Charger will do just as well, plenty available second hand at MBK

The Blackberry charger plug specifed is too big and does not fit. Home Office engineering is to advice.. Wil try the B2S at Chidlom. TH
Mekong
TH, Try Fortune Tower or Panthip for a Mini USB to Micro USB adaptor shouldn't be more than 100 Baht. Sounds like you have old BB Chargers, all current ones are now micro USB.
