The_Munchmaster
Where can I get this done? I'm sure it could be done at Brit Embassy, but anywhere else that might be less hassle?

The_Munchmaster
I need a copy certified "as a true copy and a true likeness of the holder". My bank in Jersey requires it.
Horneytorney
from Thailand, the Brit. embassy would be the best bet if for your offshore trust in Hongkong, it would be the Chinese embassy for your Directorship in some Singaporean company the Singaporean embassy for your bar venture in Angeles, the Philippines embassy
huumlaar
I need a copy certified "as a true copy and a true likeness of the holder". My bank in Jersey requires it. I had a bank do that for me for a Bank in Hong Kong - cost me 1000 baht. Near wireless road are lawyers/translator's who certify document, no idea how valid they would be but accepted by Australian Embassy.

TheCorinthian
For most Americans sending to the USA, only the US Embassy is trusted.

Mekong
Back to the OP, I have opened offshore accounts using certified copy of passport / proof of address from a lawyer here in Thailand so I am sure one of the many translation houses located close to wireless road would be able to arrange it. But your best bet is the Brit Embassy, not sure of fees now, it used to be 1,700 THB / Doc 7 years ago. Top Tip when visiting the British, or any other for that matter, embassy never have all your data on a Mobi / Tablet, they are held at security so good old pen and notepad works.
