khunsanuk
Hi, Been seeing ads on TV for a new cable operator called CTH (www.cth.co.th) Does anyone have any experience with them? Most of their channels are crap (as usual), but I do like the fact they have a couple documentary channels in HD. Sanuk!

huumlaar
New company with a lot of cash spending up fast, their biz model changes as they decide how to spend their $;s, but they do seem to be moving in right direction. It's cheap. but for a few HD channels, if that is all you want, then ThaiCom's DTV service would be better as they have 6 HD channels and some in English, none in Dutch, sorry. khunsanuk
Hi, Thanks. Had a quick look at their (Thaicom's) website and can't really make heads or tails of it. Horrible website (I *hate* it when every link I click opens up a new tab.) And speaking of Dutch TV, when I was in Hua Hin at the beginning of the year there was a channel on the cable there showing Dutch TV (recorded the day before). Any idea what company provides that or how I could get it? Sanuk!

waerth
That would be BVN (Beste Vlaanderen en Nederland) TV, some of the content is actually life (like the Journaal). It is a 24 hours channel and some cable companies in Thailand put it through. Look if the company has BVN. http://www.bvn.nl/ It has existed like 10 years or even longer. Can get it with a sat dish. http://www.bvn.nl/ontvangst/regio_informatie/centraal_en_oost_azie
