Flashermac
Hint: the head of the DSI said that drugs were being used at Rachadamnern. Had to make sure that some drugs could be found there, weapons too. "Anucha said Phatthara had not been assigned to carry out any duty at the rally site at all." Specialist
It wasn't given to Suthep. It belongs to the protest movement. Do protest movements pay taxes? Yes, the money was given to the protest movement. Where does it go from there? ALWAYS follow the money.
Flashermac
Where does it go? Have you seen how many meals are handed out at the protest camp? How many bottles of water? Hiring the PA system and all that? Paying for medical supples? Conducting a "people's protest" isn't cheap these days. Ask Thaksin, he funded one for months. p.s. While many only join the protest camp for the evening rallies or take part in the march in their own neighbourhood, I have talked to people who have been there since the beginning. Some of them have been camping out at Rachadamnern since late November.
Specialist
Flash, I'm aware that protests these big cost money. That's sort of the point I've been trying to make, ever since 2010. Yes, there've been visible contributions. I'm a bit more interested in the contributions that are NOT visible, the ones that were made BEFORE the party kicked off. In 2010, if the money trail could have been walked back, some people would at the very least have been very publicly shamed, even if they never went to trial, much less prison. Based on some rhetoric that I've previously mentioned, I want to know who is really paying the bills for Mr Suthep's circus.

khunsanuk
Hi, "Policeman apprehended with gun, 'ice' drug at Rajdamnoen rally site to be fired" Ah, so if you are a lowly sargeant you get fired, but if you are of high enough rank you just get re-assigned to another post. Sanuk!
