Guest Posted November 10, 2002 Report Share Posted November 10, 2002 All, I was out last night with a friend visiting me here in BKK. We were making the rounds in NEP when we wondered into G-Spot. Now in the past I have never had a bad experience in this place and in fact have defended it aginst others who have had bad expreiences. When we walked in my friend went to the bathroom and I headed to a seat being escorted by a service girl. I sat down and within a few seconds this guy sat next to me. I politely told him that someone was sitting there and could he please move over. He said OK and slid over. This is when things went bad. :: Right then one of those ugly, hairless, flea ridded dogs came into the bar ::. This guy called it over and it walked over and he called for this dog to climb up on the seat next to me ::. I looked at him and said what the hell are you doing? ::Don't let that thing up on the seat. He turned to me and said "F**k you! This is my F**king dog and he can go where he likes". I said to him that was wrong and he should not be doing this. Again he started yelling swear words at me in a very hostile tone. :: I thought to myself this guy is drunk & nuts so I started to walk away when he yelled at me "F**k you if you don't like it leave, this is MY BAR!" :: :: I went into the bathroom to get my friend to leave. Telling him this he wanted to see this mut & jerk for himself. When we exited the bathroom the server who had sat me said it was OK to sit down. She then began to apologize to me about how her Boss was acting! :: We sat down to have the drinks we ordered and another three servers came over to me to apologize for their bosses behavior! :: By now he had gone and the servers were trying to get the dog to get off the seats. Each one said that hated that dog and did not like it when he did this! :: I cannot understand what would make the owner of a bar do such a thing! I for one will NEVER step foot in his bar again, nor will I advise anyone else to do so. :: Both myself and my friend still can't believe this jerks behavior last night! Guest Posted November 10, 2002 Report Share Posted November 10, 2002 Thanks for the post 369, i am going to be visiting NEP soon and was going to go to G-spot as i enjoyed it last time i was there but i think that i will give it a big miss this time. G-Spot is a Crown Group Bar and there are some majority owners of the various bars I think. I can't imagine this being the Big Man himself. G-Spot has never been one of my favorite bars in NEP although some guys love the place. I think you handled the situation well, although I think I would have left instead of sticking around to receive any apologies from the staff rather than the Dog Man himself. There are so many other good bars to visit, why stick around for the Canine Follies? Raven Posted November 10, 2002 Report Share Posted November 10, 2002 G Spot is a large bar. Even if it has one dog in one seat, there are plenty of other places to sit. I am not put off by a dog in the bar, even if it is one of those mangy flea ridden ones. But then, I like most dogs (the canine type).
