great story.......

At this time of year fans across the country are 'treated' to a number of pre-season friendlies, with random trialists taking the field and players trying to work off their summer beer belly, but some games can contain a bit more bite than you would expect. Whilst every summer sees the odd pre-season scrap, SPL outfit Falkirk had an altogether more extreme experience when playing Rizespor. Things started off badly when the Turkish outfit turned up 15 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time, and the situation deteriorated in the first half when the referee walked off the pitch and disappeared for five minutes after a fracas. After the half-time break a streaker briefly interrupted play, and then proceedings got even more chaotic, as a report on the club's official website explains.

"What happened next was like something out of a comedy film. The streaker reappeared to celebrate the strike (from Falkirk) and (goalkeeper Atilla) Koca took offence, launching the ball at him. The goalkeeper and team-mates then chased the supporter to the sidelines and other fans became involved at the side of the pitch. It was all too much for the referee who simply walked off and abandoned the game." Back of the Net hopes for similar scenes when Plymouth play Real Madrid, Iker Casillas watch out.

O'Leary becomes the 1st Managerial casualty of the Season before a ball is kicked.

Glad O'leary is out, never really liked the guy.

Too invisible, too safe, not flexible enough, not daring to try different tactics according to the strength of a certain squad.

IMO he had a Leeds mind when he came to Villa.

PLEASE NOT SVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:banghead:

The fucker almost went to Portugal to coach the national team..fucking happy Scolari signed a new deal as I prefer him way over Sven.

Now's he's got his eyes on Villa?

FUCK'S HE WANT FROM MY CLUBS!!!

PLEASE NOT SVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is ridiculous that this guy is even considered from any club, one who has a squad like him and achieving absolutely nothing is NOT A GOOD COACH for christ sake.

Not that it would really matter for the title since Chelsea will have a smooth run through again but whoever gives him a job will have all the laughs on his side! Maybe he can coach Juventus Turin!

I had 2 great german coaches for AV

Ottmar Hitzfeld

3x CL 2x UEFA 9 National Titles

he is a brilliant man, whatever he touches becomes gold!

Christoph Daum

Dunno how many titles he has won, he is the perfect coach for a team in the 2nd row, he is a great motivator, he was already signed as erman national coach untill it came out that he was doing coke! Then he went to Turkey and won some more titles! Great man and clean now :)

Come to think of it, Alan curbishley would be the ideal man to lead Villa considering he used to play for them. Give him 2 or 3 years and he would probably get them back as a top 6 team at least. Better that than get some asshole like Sven who would look to get fired after a couple of years and walk away with a nice severance deal.
