Flashermac
Stickman on the prowl Rave the Dave - "THAI TROOPS WITH LIVE AMMUNITION ON THE STREETS OF BANGKOK" ... Uh, the soldiers in the photo are armed with shotguns and thus probably carrying rubber bullets. The grey canister with a red stripe is CS gas (aka riot gas)
cavanami
From Stick's pictures, very, very empty! Had to make a civil war if no one is there
Whitney
Stickmans report was excellent with the descriptions and pictures of whats going on. The only good news I could see was that there was no night market, but no bars open for the most part. Oh well, time to go to Pattaya, or the Philippines. Stickman
Just came home from Nana Plaza. Had a drink with Dave The Rave and no bombs there. They may as well have been though for it's real quiet!
Pom Michael
Thanks Stickman - very good Situation Report on 14th May - looking forward to today's (15th). Was heading home via the Klongtoey / Rama 4 intersection and was told that it was blocked - so went a different way. If the protesters have taken control of that intersection - I shutter to think what will happen if they get control of Asoke! Cheers.
