Red shirt convoys moving into Bangkok last month reportedly were cheered as they passed through Ngam Wong Wan. Heard that a colleague who lives near the Malaysia Hotel went out onto a pedestrian bridge to photograph things. Everyone decided to leave when someone started shooting at them.
