  1. JaiRai, sure, we've made light of it, because I think many make the mistake thinking they had been spiked, people who really have been, it sucks. However after getting rid of the annoying noise on this board, it seems to me at least a bit more interesting to look in on. I welcome all the contributions, especially that fine short story!
  2. I could say the same about you and your wife too I suggest we go Biz class and they stay at the back of the bus!
  3. So if a fatty has to pay more, does that mean my wife can pay less?
  4. Well on Thai, that would mean many women fly almost free, while thier fat fuckers pay triple
  5. Ay Thai airlines today, weighed bags, 1/2 what is allowed, 16kg, then asked to see the wife's handbag, they thought about weighing it but passed.
  6. Or to put it religiously And note, while that sax is Sex, the drums are the climax!
  7. about as coosl as it gets http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lbt9DDolcag
  8. I've noticed recently airlines weighing my hand luggage, never used to happen, or rarely, now pretty much every flight, 80% or more, I get asked to weigh. Not just "Western" airlines, but Singapore just last week, Thai not so long ago also, Air ASia and someother cheap airline I flew
  9. I can asure you I have only ever spiked my own drinks. While I say that in jest, the truth is I often thought perhaps a drink had been spiked, only to have a friend tell me the next day just how much I had drunk. One problem coming to Thailand, especially when the exchange rate was crazy, was I could afford to drink hard every day, and I did, sometimes, often perhaps, far harder than I thought. Now looking back, I realize what I had thought of as people maybe spiking my drink, in fact was me just getting shit faced far faster than I was used too. I suspect some people do get spiked, but I also suspect many more think they do, when they, lke me, have just gotten shit faced far faster than they mean too
  10. I remember my brother introducing me to Dracula movies when I was very young in the late 60's, no doubt a thrill to scare your 6 year old brother! I quickly noticed every movie had the same man as Dracula, which he smartly used to re-enforce the idea Dracula was real, and that was him!
  11. Flash, no need to reply if too personal, but was you married at that stage? If so how did the wife like USA? I'm finding my wife is very happy in Aus, everyone in my family is fucking happy in Aus, except me! While I am over Thailand, I seriously doubt we'll retire in Australia, rather we'll end up somewhere in SE Asia or maybe a corner of the Pacific. I am finding the Pacific quite good, not at all spoilt as I had thought, in fact far less developed than all Asian nations, inc Myanmar.
  12. Well I replied that I spike my own drinks, but as I use drugs that make you forget, I forget I was the one. I then asked flash where stick was as he referenced a stick article, and then we all had a nice chat, no character assassination other than critical of his front page layout which resembles a bucket beside me after I've spiked my own drinks. I like stick, however since I was the proud culprit who supplied the katoey at his bucks party while he was tied to a pole on stage he has never forgiven me I fear. It was impressive how he untied himself faster than Houdini and ran away very quick. Kiwis ate a fast bunch. I like him. I dont think I've ever seen him drunk, or molesting a girl in a bar, he's very polite. Unlike us. Cunt!
  13. Hmm, just went and looked, he's happy in NZ, makes the same comments many others do (including me, sigh) that life at home isn't too bad, actually, it can be pretty good
  14. Someone told me Stick has made the move to NZ? I thought he decided to stay? I rarely read his column as it's such a mess of a web site I can never find the link so don't bother. So is he in NZ or Bangkok? Aside - I used to think my drinks being spiked regularly, until I realized I was just getting rotten drunk fast.
  15. All beliefs have there extremes, and pretty much all of them have shown themselves to be capable of vile acts Buddhists in Sri Lanka and Myanmar advocating slaughter of non believers, Muslims doing the same Christians doing the same Pretty much all religions have people doing the same, Maybe that's the common denominator? My REAL issue with this is my wife and children. We've seen governments invoke laws in the wake of 9/11 that have since been used to do many things not related to 9/11 or even terrorism. The UK caused thousands to loose life savings as it used it's terrorism laws to overtake banks in Iceland. The USA uses it's laws for many different things, So when I say I oppose this 1 - I believe we should prosecute and jail them, no issue 2 - If we set the president of revoking the citizenship, how do we know when government will use that in other ways. So that in the future my wife's citizenship, my children's, is cast under a cloud because this was allowed. If we grant citizenship, and maybe we grant it too easy, but when we do, it should be irrevocable, otherwise we are no less than the NAZI's who revoked Jewish citezenship, because THEN the masses believed the bullshit flowing from the media, as it does now, and BELIEVED it was good to revoke those Jewish citizen.s I'd like the think, maybe falsely, that Australia is better than that. Better than believing the hype, the hatred, and smart enough to protect the fundamental laws we grant ALL citizens. wife beaters, priests, terrorists, murders, dole bludgers, what ever, Once we begin to throw those fundermentals away, we are no better than scum, and personally, I then fear for my family.
  16. That's how I remember it. Bob was Agent Lara Flynn Boil Rooter
  17. And of course Australia applied the same rules to the thousands, maybe 10's thousands of Yugoslav/Australians who fought on both sides in the Serbian, Kosovo and other incidents in the old Yugoslav states? Nope . . . . . . Many children grow up tangential to their parents. The more extreme the more tangential often.
  18. Wasn't Dale Cooper the murderer all along?
  19. Mary Ellen Mark - great photographer http://www.theguardi...phs-in-pictures A pic from Indian brothel
  20. Fantastic TV series, that and the one about vampires.
  21. Never tried that one, but the roof top of Landmark I went a few times, not as good as New York steakhouse, was good, not exceptional
  22. That's it! I hosted two meals there, and ate at the expense of others a few times, was very good.
  23. Going back many years, the only steakhouse was the one at the Marriott? Did you ever go there? That one I loved, thinking about it, pricing wasn't that different.
  24. Relax, i think it's called humour, a dreadful affliction and something BB must have caught while assisting with non-germans
