Torneyboy
My wife loves chicken feet I can not look when she eats them...i just know where they have been. She served these last night to my son and his GF...she just pushed them around the plate for 5 minutes before admitting defeat (no Punn) And chose another dish on the table (always has way to much food) Funny to watch someone trying to be polite but knowing they will throw up if they eat it ::
rovineye
I enjoy sitting at the rail at Big Dog in late after noon as the puuying come to work in NEP. They scrutenize the chicken tails being grilled as closely the Chinese look at the gold bracelets the girls bring in to sell!

Zaad
Yep, it's not what I call an enjoyable sight whenever I saw my father eating his Portuguese chicken feet soup. Always reminded me of that nice tropical dinner good old Indiana Jones declined in 'The Temple of Doom'(?)

Guest
In the real world of chickens today, those feet have never touched ground, let alone excretement. Housed in boxes small enough they can never stand so they don't waste any energy and get to your table faster and at a bigger profit, todays chicken not only can't fly, it can't walk. Now OTOH and really good free range one maybe from a Chinese market.... it's scratched a bug or two. Great flavour, but still chewy and gristley to my taste. Ox Tail Stew anyone ? Fresh Tripe Soup ? Don't even consider whats in a Banger. Pickled Pig's Feet ? Or Rocky Mountain Oysters ?
jp1
TB, In Hong Kong I ate them several times. They're a part of Cantonese 'Dim Sum' dishes and they taste delicious. ::
