Guest
I may not be the best person to answer this as on my last trip I managed to shit on the bathroom wall, but my recommendation is fruit and plenty of it, lots of veggies, and cut back on the rice and meats. Also flying always constipates me so before my trip I will incease my bran intake with lots of cerial. Maybe on the next trip you can bring some heavy duty bran cereal with you. Don't know about releiving constipation tho'.

Guest
Quote from fly"what's your diet here as opposed to farangland?" I eat Thai food in Thailand, and falang food in falangland. As for veggies, I eat my share of them. One favorite is carrots. As for prunes, I sometimes buy prune juice but surprisingly, that does not help. I have tried some of the Thai laxatives, etc. - they help but do not solve the problem. I do eat a lot of spicy food - the hotter the better but I do not think that is the problem. Any suggestions? HISURFER
Try to consume dairy products such as milk, yogurt and icecream. Especially, drink lots of water and eat fruits such as mangos, watermelons and durian. Good luck!

Loose and unpredictable in LOS and like trying to pass a bloody fence post when I get back to 'proper' food... Wish I had something concrete to offer. Your "proper food stool" sounds pretty, erm, concrete. jack

carlton68
Look out for filthy noodle stands. Every time you see one buy a bowl of noodles and eat it.
chuckwoww
Well I'm a hardened traveller. When I'm home I usually I use a jackhammer to break it up a bit. Last time it happened in a remote corner of Cambodia I had to dig it out with chopsticks and a flashlight.
