pe7e
she should go and apply for unemployment. Have you ever really been to Thailand? Maybe you could let us know who she is supposed to claim unemployment benefit from :: You're having a laugh, aren't you?
cardinalblue
I think a wrongful discharge suit would be better as she could sue for civil damages and past and maybe future wages. She could also throw in "an intentional infliction of emotional stress" claim and really be rolling in baht.... Now if she wants to return, they even might have to take her back and guarantee her old pole position so they just can't put her in some "office job" with a window away from the action..... Guest
Pe7e, there was an article in the paper within the last ten days that had overtones of that nature. There are also some groups that are trying to educate the girls what their 'rights' are. It is only a matter of time. I only brought this up to stress the stupidity of buying a girl out of the bar scene because she does not need to be bought. She can walk. Now if repercussions should happen afterwards, then we are talking about a whole different subject.
samak
ttm there are several bars in SC with girls living upstairs. each bar has it's own house rules; free or fee, locked or unlocked. however upstairs room are not longer used as ST rooms (this was very common 3+ years back) anymore, at least not officially!
