Actually, I like most sports movies as long as there are no teams from Michigan featured. :neener:

Yeah, I guess that George Plimpton feller was your typical athlete from Michigan. :) He sure showed those Detroit Pussycats how to play, right? Actually, it was a good movie and I always did like Alex Karras. He is the one they threw the cherry bomb at while he was broadcasting Monday Nite Football at the 'Vet with Cosell et al. :o

I generally hate sports movies...boring with one cliche after another... "ah yeah, out on the football field, giving 110%..." all hype, presenting athletes as some sort of supernatural guys...fuck them the over paid whiners...umteen mil a year and they still bitch? thank god the shit heads didn't have real jobs, they'd never make it...1/2 these dumb fucks are borderline gang members/criminals who belong in jail, some of them still end up there...I want a movie, its comedy or Porn!

Days of Thunder ::.....any cricket movies???....must be, was a Beeb TV drama Bodyline some years ago, remember?

Dude, "Days" was crap! Great car racing movies? How 'bout Grand Prix (1966) with James Garner (and my fav Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune) and LeMans (1971) with Steve McQueen? Both absolute classics!

Cheers,

SD
