Old Hippie
I ate dog up in Sakhon Nakhon once, and also "Aso Kilawin" (marinated raw dog) in the PI, it did have a very weird effect on me, made me feel hot, and "weird" trouble sleeping, same with cobra...weird... limbo
Strange OH, I ate cobra in Indonesia and had a raging hard on for a few hours (at least that is what should've happened, since that's why one would eat it, unless you're a travelling backpacker interested in weird stuff to eat, like myself). Slept just fine and didn't have any sexual urges over the normal activity.
-.-.-
The Korean restaurant that was the best some years ago, according to Koreans I know in BKK, is in the complex at the corner of Wireless and Ploenchit. Beleive the name is Korea House. At one time they were selling kimchee through several stores like Villa. Would be interested in comments from anyone who has been there who knows Korean food. the_numbers
There's also Seoul, which I'm surprised nobody mentioned on the right side of Thong Lo. Its just a ways up the soi and easy to spot. The place is convenient, convivial, and fun for table cooking and munching. I think the tab will be higher than the Erhawon place mentioned reckon 500B a head if you eat heartily. Based on recollection - its been awhile? Its convenient though and has pretty good kimchee by my reckoning. cheers, the_numbers
Pom Michael
The #'s, This is a new one in the Soi 12 area (Leader Price complex), next to Times Square called Seoul BBQ. Looks pretty good as it is always busy.

gummigut
I'm in unless it's going to cost northward of 800 baht for me. Then I'd rather go to Bourbon Street or someth'n rather than Korean. <<burp>>
