sorry Bibbs but you have just maintained my view that Macca was crap.....

so many of those those you mentioned are so crap.......... :grinyes:

'The last three especially destroy the myth that Paul couldn't do meaningful beautiful lyrics'

so what's your excuse for the Frog Song?........... :yikes:

He worked closely and edited a lot of the librettos of his operas.

One of my favorite lines is what the old Haydn answered when Mozart worried about him going to England, not knowing any english " Oh, no worry, Mozart, people understand my language (note: his music) all around the world".

My Mom speaks 2 words of english fluently, but "imagine" is such a great song, music and voice, that it touched her as if she could understand the lyrics. Same like Haydn....

Er, she liked the "fool on the hill" too.... So kudos, Sir Paul! :)

i would hope he did,i would imagine he would not have been happy if someone else would have edited his Music.

but another question.............

if Lyrics were to be added to Mozarts Music then who would you choose to write them

Lennon or McCartney? (just imagine Johnnie was alive).
