Coss
If they don't have power management they chew the batteries, if they do, the batts will last 3-6 months. Cheers Coss
Neo
I think wireless keyboards and mice are a dumb idea; a mess of power bricks, wires, chargers and spent batteries. Ultimately they are laggy and not ideal for gaming as well.
Coss
Apple's ones, don't have "a mess of power bricks, wires, chargers and spent batteries" and they "just work", but you have a point about Gaming. Cheers Coss
unit731
Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. I have had this for two years and works perfectly. Used every day. I will never go back to funky wires. I use rechargeable batteries. Never any problems and last a long time. Lasts a long time with regular batteries too. Pom Michael
I second the Logitech brand. Have had mine for 2 years or so and also would not go back to a normal keyboard. I don't play games so can't tell if this would be a problem.
gummigut
My wireless mouse is perfectly fine for gaming. It's also a great tool for forwarding and advancing during presentations as you can walk around and point at things. My mouse does suck two AA batteries every couple of months though. <<burp>>
Bangkoktraveler
The first wireless mouse I had did not always ork right if I had the fan blowing on to me. The second wireless mouse from Microsoft works like a champ. Recently bought a Gyration mouse and keyboard and they work like a champ. The keyoard has a range of about 300 feet as oppose to the traditional distance of 6 feet. My computer is about 6 feet away from my monitor so there is the possibility the traditional 6 foot distance might not work. As for price, HP has been selling a combo set for about 2000 baht which I think is a good deal.
