Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Don't you Americans do Geography at school? Bring back Dan Quale and let him run for President, he would inspire all Americans to study their Geography. Here are a few examples of just how educated he was:

"I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was that I didn't study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those people."

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe."

"I love California, I practically grew up in Phoenix."

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century."

"We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world."

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."

I love this bloke, can anyone tell me how I would go about getting a lunch date with him.

Algun oriente mdeio=some Middle east

= (more or less)

although behind schedule, here are some subtitles we commented on (mentioned) the other day...we need to thank ?? for the integration of the subtitles in the video...

=(more or less)

we are worried that the people don't know the situation in Iran or N.Korea...and then basically...how can a person have an ide to attack another country if he/she/they don't even know where it is? if a country is attacked, it should defend itself...(more less, I'm paraphrasing lossely a bit here...) But they are more less saying how could we think or plan an invasion when we don't even know where it is...

= (more less, loosely)

it is terrifying that a country who fights terrorism is also invading countries with planes, air craft carriers secret fights and artillery...they blame the CIA, make a comment about democracy which I don't quite get, and then go on to say that once we invade one country to fight terrorism, we will also invade another... they then reference a dialougue...where the guy says he more less thinks N. Korea should be attacked because it has nuclear weapons...

Err? nuclear.

= (sort of)

There is no discussion of why, just an idea to go do it... (lousy translation, sorry...)

Eso lo dice todo.= This says all (or this says it all)

more less the generel idea...hope it helps
