I think a POSSIBLE number 8 and 9 based on an experience someone I know had recently. A nOOb for sure and not someone that I wanted the task of showing around anyway but in the end I did. Cowboy was fine and Thermae even went well.....but he HAD to check out Nana as he heard the women there were stunners. When I hear the word stunner I generally bow out as it is so subjective....your stunner could be gutter trash in my book and of course the reverse is true. Fuckwit took a girl from Nana. In a short time hotel somewhere SHE, according to him, lit a joint. Minutes later a knock on the door and in come Lumpini's finest. I am totally and completely convinced this was a set up. She made a number of phone calls while in the room and of course he had no idea what it was about. In the end he ended up doing a number of trips to ATMs with various bank cards and got out of it somewhere north of 40,000 baht. There are many fuck ups in this but what really got him was that he had a number of ATM slips in his wallet- with his bank cards- showing a number of withdrawals the previous few days. So my choice for another two is: 8. If a girl lights up something illegal leave the room immediately. 9. Don't carry a wad of ATM statements detailing your withdrawal history when you go out. Usually there will be no resolution other than you learned a valuable lesson. These cases are preventable. Here are some pointers: Number one: Never take a girl on the first night you see her. It pays to do your homework. How does she look three successive nights in a row, is she sick, does she look tired or desperate. Did she even shower today? Is she wearing the exact same outfit. Personally I make sure I have seen her several times to get a gauge on how she leads her life. Not fool proof, but since you are making a judgement call it is best to have the most metrics possible. Truly a better indicator then 'hey lets go'. This will also help prevent the 'sore throat' factor.....nothing worse than sucking face with a flu ridden whore [sexy as she may be]. Number two: Take her to a hotel the first time. A halfway decent one that will watch your back. Don't be cheap. If you can't afford to watch your back a little then don't winge when you wake up with a headache, your laptop, and diamond earrings for the mrs. gone [you cheating bastard]. Try taking her to a room you have lined up just for sanuk. There are places who will watch your back that cost 500-600 baht. Number three: Get the phone number and call her in the daytime to say hi. 'Cheap Charlies' should try to meet her in the daytime to recoup hotel costs. Number four: Have 100% accountability over your belongings at all times when 'whoring'. I only have what I need. Some cash, rubbers, and maybe a viagra if I am going to nail four or five whores over the course of day - evening - night. I don't bring my pants into the bathroom, but I know exactly what I have. Usually I show her. If she wants to do a runner with my cash I got rid of a bad apple cheaply. The hotel will try to stop her on the way out anyway, and they have her card. Worst case is it's a fake ID and I'm out some baht. Operate under the assumption that she is a whore after all, some of them are desperate and evil. When you truly get to know her, if she proves to be cool, drop the whore tag. I have lots of BG friends that I hang with. Number five: Don't put up with any shit. As soon as you start getting pushed around you are fucked. Decide what getting pushed around is...I'm never mean, but I am certainly in charge I am also somewhat flexible if the girl warrants it 'GFE'. Some of em are real darlings; however, she is a whore after all, some of them are desperate and evil. No better than me or you I might add. Number six: Never fall for the 'we go to movie' routine where one is guided up the emporium escalator stopping off at the ladies department. If you fall for that go home. She knows exactly what is in stock and sometimes visits there first and puts a bunch of shit near the escalator....'Oh....look dokling' Number seven: Don't get too drunk, that is just a dumbshit move and a big symptom of the problem. Who doesn't think a roophy acts quicker after 8 singhas? Never take a girl from this bar. Always make it your first stop. Always shell out a drink or two for someone, even the dj. Do Sarisin-esque things like bring candy, treats....make yourself 'falang sanuk jai dee master'. This is the place where you go should things turn to shit on a night out. It will calm your nerves, get you a fresh start, no complications because you didn't take a girl, and they will be willing to help you if the shit follows you from another bar. And while there were some innocent victims on 9/11, someone should be held accountable for letting it occur. back to the constructivity of helping chumpy and mr. n00b: Number 17: When possible have a wide variety of bill denomination. Instead of 4 1000 baht notes jet into 7/11 and get some change so that you can deal with the situation as it unfolds. girl is a bitch give her 500 baht and kick her out. Girl agrees to longtime and then wants shortime, give her less than what was agreed for longtime but be fair....control=control and it builds upon itself.
