YimSiam
Recent news says the bombers were caught on cctv, and at least one arrest is imminent... God's Army... While I'm all for the Karen cause and love the crazy talk of these bulletproof god-generals (not to mention how photogenic they were back in the day), the fact remains that their group is responsible for both the Myanmar Embassy hostage-taking (the last major terrorist attack in Bangkok, before the current bombs) and for attacking a hospital - there's no more bright-line violation of humanitarian law than that. With regard to the current attacks, it might be instructive to look at what happened to the hospital attackers - they were almost definitely executed after being taken prisoner by Thai forces, who did not appreciate having terrorism in their town... If the bombers in this case are found, they'll probably have a bullet in their head already. Johnny (Kyaw Ni) apparently left Ban Don Yang refugee camp in Thailand in July this year, surrendering with eight of his soldiers to the Myanmar authorities in Yangon. Flashermac
What's the standard uniform for the invisible warlords? It was Chuan Leekpai who ordered the hospital hostage takers to be executed after their surrender, every one with a single bullet in the back of the head -- and some were as young as 15. khunsanuk
Hi, Not really surprising, is it? "Bury your head in the sand and hope the problem goes away". Isn't that how most problems here are 'dealt' with? Sanuk!

Guest
Well we aren't getting any answers...even the wild speculation has abated...no arrests, no responsibility and more 'martial law' than when had martial law...it's all a bit strange........
