Palatkik
Especially Thais according to this Acer sales guy. Anyone have a clue what he's talking about an maybe guess a reason for him saying this? http://www.bangkokpost.com/070207_Database/07Feb2007_data60.php Acer Computer Thailand senior marketing manager Nithipat Praweensongwuthi claimed the design of notebooks would start to suit Asian people better. "A large screen computer is better for Western users, but Asian people and Thais today prefer a smaller unit, so there will be more variety of design and sizes that better fit the needs of Thai consumers," Nithipat said, predicting that 12- and 14-inch notebooks would be more popular than 15-inch models. kamui
If I remember right, in Japan the sales of notebooks are higher than of desktop PC's. I presume that isn't anything special 'Asian' but the result of the etreme small apartments most Japanese have to live in.
The_Munchmaster
Probably 12" notebooks are considered more cute by Asians and perhaps they come in different colours too.
Bangkoktraveler
Maybe their is a corrolation? 12" notebook users love 12" dicks. Or maybe the number is divded by 2. That would mean 12" notebooks like 6" dicks and 14" notebooks like 7" dicks.
The_Munchmaster
Yes, brilliant deduction, that would explain why 15" and 16" ones are considered too big.
