OCgringo
I want to download Windows Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP SP2 when I go to MS website they want the validation number for XP well even though its a legal XP ( I bought the computer at Office Depot) I have no idea where the paperwork is for it from 2 years ago.... so is there another place to download it ? thanks OC
carlton68
When your XP is legal I suggest you run Windows update. You will get more than just IE7. Updates you should have when you intend to surf with XP (and IE). Even if you manage to download IE7 without validation (not too difficult) you still have the problem that IE7 does the validation again when you try to install. For validation the WGA tool has to be installed (comes via windows update, not to confuse with WGA notification which is not needed nor recommended). was_usvirgin
When I upgraded Windows Media Player yesterday, I thought I'd have to enter some code but the validation processed itself automatically and I didn't have to enter anything (just click next> next>...). I'm not good with computers, so I was surprised in a 'How do it know?' kind of way.
shygye
Well, it keeps validating your software every couple of weeks!
ChristianTroy
It s one of these stupid comments, but why do you want to have a slow internet explorer when you can have a fast firefox? It really is better, I don't understand why people don't give it a test run!!???

khunsanuk
Hi, As a webdeveloper IE7 is causing us some serious problems. Quite a bit of code that worked fine in both IE6 and FF fucks up in IE7. Once again Microsoft fucked up Sanuk!
