Neo
I need to meet a friend flying in to the new airport. I've done the thing with watching every single person walking by for 2 hours in the past, but wonder if there is a better way. Are there any decent places where two people can easily find each other in a less hectic sort of way?
Mekong
Level 2 is arrivals but level 3 is meeting. What I usualy do is name a place ($tarbugs for example) and wait for the person arriving to come and find me. Most of the snackbars etc are on Level
torrenova
I second a meeting place rather than just in the queue. remember at DM ? people turned left but some turned right ? Some even came in at the other terminal !!!! Whatever you do, have mobile phones or at least one of you have a phone and the other your number. Dumsoda
The exit doors in arrivals are numbered. I usually tell "people" to meet me near door 5.. ...Doesn't work all that well....she's usually in a taxi....and late!!! we talk on the phone, I go to departures, jump in the cab and we're off back into town...lol... unit731
The Prayer Room is a good spot to meet. Well, not in the prayer rooom but just outside. Everyone knows about/where the Prayer Room is !
Mekong
If outside the Prayer Room make sure you have some Moo Yang and a can of beer to keep the Muslims away from you.
