Half the people probably don't know what they are protesting about. They are uneducated, they don't understand, but the Imam has told them what to do and as they blindly pray 5 times a day, repeating what they are told to repeat, they blindly do what they are told to do. Steve Posted December 3, 2007 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 It doesn't even have to do with their education, its just deep rooted anger/fear/hatred that will react to litterally ANYTHING. Different societies have done the same. Societies with educated folks even. I'm sure a lot of the germans that rioted on kristalnacht were very educated, as well as southerners who lynched blacks decades ago over a black guy supposedly leering at a white woman. A few years ago jews in the Crown Hts section of Brooklyn were pounced on by blacks after a traffic accident where a car hit a black kid. Not intentional, however tragic, but it touched off a mini riot. There were deep rooted anger at the jews in the area for years by blacks. Deep rooted anger in Germany against jews, whites and blacks in the deep south, etc. etc. Very minor and inconsequential acts will trigger seemingly irrational and illogical acts of violence. The issue isnt' that act but the sentiment behind the act, usually a pre-existing feeling of hatred, anger, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
