Coss
Well, not quite a trip report from Thailand, but given the continuum, this is the account of what Australia, Perth is like after the delights of LOS. Mods please feel free to move this as required. Spent some excellent days catching up with friends, sailing, diving, even a yacht race we won. There are some very beautiful women in Perth, but as a monger I am invisible. The Escort and Parlour scene here is present but oh so expensive. A$180 an hour at the cheapest. A$250 for more up-market and no freelancers I can see apart from the addict street walkers. I did see a very cute and attractive girl turn up at my hotel, to be met by an obvious client. But I can't imagine the punitory damages. Spent some time at a pub and was befriended by a drunken "digger" he gave me some cards of girl friendly establishments, good chap. He was so drunk he could not roll his cigarette, I gave him one of mine. Out comes a great big bowie knife, think Crocodile Dundee. I was initially perturbed, wary even. He grabbed a beer mat and with skill, cut about 80% of the filter off the smoke, he prefers it that way. The bowie knife put away, I relaxed and we had several more beers. Good fella, but scary. Northbridge is where the night life is, chatted up two young sheilas in matching black boots and white miniskirts. They were happy to take my drinks and were a great laugh. But any intimation on my part that would have lead to sanuk of the boudoir kind was ignored in preference to sending big smiles to the young handsome boys at the next table. After LOS I am having to adjust to my worthlessness in western society. Good in a way, having to adjust, but the Bkk Blues are strong right now. I am determined to explore a bit more and will spend the next evening in the honourable pursuit of Sanuk. Damn the torpedoes and the cost, I'll report back. Cheers Coss

Another city I could easily live in. Don't give up too easily. Some Western birds do still like us charming and handsome older men. And there are plenty of Asian (esp Japanese) tourist gals to play with...easier targets too. Northbridge is fun. Used to go to a place called Golden Monkey or something like that. Fun. And there is (was?) a Carnegie's (as in Hong Kong) that can be fun too. Also check out the suburb of Subiaco for other decent nightlife. And the Little Creatures Brew Pub in Freemantle is a must go. If time permits, a drive to Margret River would not be a waste. Cheers, SD
LookieLookie
Im currently working with two lovely young things in my new job and they are both competing for my attention. absolutely lovely by australian standards but all I can thin about is LBFM. I give them a little attention and I sense they want me to make a move which just makes the PTD - post thailand depression more and more harder to take. God I miss thailand. The simplicity of it all. I have some beautiful bunnies in Bnagkok stashed away. Anytime I arrive in BKK i get very well looked after. I'm a King. As good as it can possibly get in Australia nothing really compares and it kills me. I'm drunk as I write this but I'm \fighting the urge to get on a plane. God almighty I miss my spiritual home the almighty Thailand. Teaching English just to be there actually seems like a good alternative right now (that should give you an indication of how badly I miss the place). I pray I get back there soon. If you saw the quality of the girls competing for my attention right now you might question me but it doesnt matter I'm permanently smitten with the LBFM. I intend to die while a LBFM rides me like the pony she always wanted as a young girl.
gobbledonk
After LOS I am having to adjust to my worthlessness in western society. Good in a way, having to adjust, but the Bkk Blues are strong right now. Hang in there Coss, old son, and be really careful what you wish for. Its no accident that so many Aussie guys prefer Asian women, and I think that goes double for the ¨ĺadette¨ brigade that we seem to be saddled with in Qld. I agree that some are externally good looking, but they are every bit as avaricious as the worst from Sillypore, IMO - tread carefully :smirk: Cheers, Gobble
Coss
Thanks for the kind words gents. The Bkk Blues have faded, but I know that the next email from Lamb Pie will re-ignite them. I am fortunate that I have no way to get back to LOS before January. So with luck I'll find my sanity before then. Cheers Coss
