USVirgin
I have to admit, I was once an owner of such an alarm clock, but I failed to register my timepiece with the manufactuer, so the thought of transporting it back to China for a replacement never occurred to me. My alarm clock was pretty and pink, maybe not the exact model you had - perhaps the model XR47000HDti. It was presented to me at the Old Dutch, by a girl who was on her way to work, because we had trouble waking up at the Jasmine Suites across the road, where they didn't provide radio-alarm clocks. I had room in my suitcase so, for sentimental reasons, I brought the thing home. After a few weeks, that loud, annoying ticking finally stopped. I breathed a sigh of relief and thought, "Now I can sleep." So I placed it in the trash can, no sentiments involved, it served its use. Makes me wonder about you guys who want to smash things or send them back to China.
