Would have taken it at the last referendum (10 years ago??), but Howard hijacked the process so that the status quo was the more attractive option. Reagan. Nobody is ordering God to do anything. Those who believe in Him understand that He does not take orders. We ask Him to bless us, and we recognize that He has so far. It's like Uncle Ray says in the video: "He crowned thy good (He told me He would) He said in brotherhood From sea to shining sea." God said it. Uncle Ray believes it. That settles it. Ultimately, it was lost (or rather didn't have a fair chance) because the republican model offered was the least acceptable to the electorate. Would have been much closer otherwise.
