It has been on TV for weeks now at least in germany and last night they showed some guys hitting each other and invading the airport . Conclusion for the average participant : Thailand is unsafe , revolution and shooting on and about , go elsewhere . Good points. From the hardcore sanuker perspective, also bear in mind that (a) the bar scene could contract if only the hardcore sanukers come here; and ( PAD includes a great number of moralists who love to shut down the Farang oriented industry and shut out foreigners generally (never mind that it is bad for average Thais); these people don't care what foreigners do or think - they demonstrated that quite effectively today at the airport.
