cavanami
Do a Google, for International Drivers License...about $75 USD for a 10 year license. Usually from a New York mail order type company. Email them a jog of your USA DL and your credit card billing info, they will Fed X the license to you in 2 ~ 3 days. dean
I just saw an ad "banner" on Thai 360 for international driver's licence. That might be a place to start. Good luck!
shygye
You get the International license before leaving the USA.

rchapstick
Be VERY careful about stuff on the internet for international DL's. Actually, there is no such thing as an international DL ... you need an international driving permit, which you carry as a supplement to your US DL. Best place to get them is AAA. There is a lot of overpriced fake stuff out there so be aware.
mainsail
Maybe won't help you now but in the US you can easily get an international license at a AAA office and you do not have to be a member. Always carry it with me traveling outside the country.
..
If you have a visa of any kind, it is dead easy to get a Thai DL. Why not just do that? Cheers, SD
passingthru69
All I have is a 30 day voa stamp. Can I still get a Thai license with that or will they say no? Thanks
cavanami
My 10 year International DL cost $75, including shipping it vi Fed X to Bangkok. I did everything via internet from here in Bangkok. My Int. DL has been checked by the BiB 984 times and never a whimper about it. I will say that the BiB checks do not guaranty but does give me a warm and fuzzy that it is OK. I used ATIAA, New York type mail order company, back in 2005.
