rchapstick
Colin Cotterill's books (in order) The Coroner's Lunch 33 Teeth Disco for the Departed Anarchy and Old Dogs The Curse of the Pogo Stick The Merry Misogynist (August '09) For people into mystery books, Cotterill's books remind me of Tony Hillerman's novels. Interesting mysteries set in a fascinating time/place, with great characters. Very easy to read (I did the first two flying from SFO to BKK in January). CTO
I just Anarchy and Old Dogs - at first I thought a bit boring compared his others but the last half was very good. Unlike every other writer I've read of Thai stories this guy knows how to close the stories. By far the best writer I've read on the region apart from Graeme Green maybe
khunsanuk
Hi, I've updated the Amazon Store with the recommended books. For now it can be found here: http://www.thai360.com/fbb/store/thailand_books.php (or click the 'STORE' button in the menu) I'll be adding links from the forum to the different categories later, but would like to see some more books and/or categories added. khunsanuk
Hi, Have added a link on the forum to the Book Store (sub forum of General Discussion). We could still do with a bit more books though, so any more recommendations? Sanuk!
TroyinEwa/Perv
The Bible........Wiki says it's sold between 2.5 and 6 billion copies. Think of the commission off of that!! I'm sure lots of guys here would buy several for their "friends"
