2009 Ashes Series

Begins today!!

In Wales..... :dunno:

Will be a lot closer than a lot of people think.

Losing Brett Lee today won't help us.

England has some talent there, but not sure how they'll perform as a team.

A lot for us depends on Phil Hughes and whether Mike Hussey can fire up.

No decent spinner for Oz won't help the cause either. Interesting that Warnie "just happens" to be in England at the moment... maybe a (not-so) shock comeback in the offing?

My prediction: 2 tests drawn (mostly due to silly English weather interrupting the play! :cussing: )

and Australia to win 2-1.

Bring it on!

The wankers have chosen Cardiff at the expense of Old Trafford :banghead: which always guarantees a good test match, although it usually pisses down for at least half the test match.

Old Trafford is only 1/2 hour away from me but now I have to travel to Headingley to see a days play.

Anyway, England will win this first test pretty comfortably, the pitch will start to turn early on which is why we have both Swann and Monty playing.

Helps that we are batting first as well. Aussies are fucked.

21-0 already

Yeah.. oops!!

And Bophara looking decidedly dodgy!!

(Great that you chose an authentic Brit in the team, Teddy - Bophara) :grinyes:

It's Bopara, born in London.

A true English Gentleman and no convicts in his ancestory :neener:
