bust
Bollocks, Strauss explained what happened and he said: "There was a lot of confusion." The only one that looked confused was the physio guy as to what the fark he was supposed to do once he got out there.

The_Munchmaster
Lord's in the 1930s - a very different scene from the ground as it is today When England take on Australia in the second Ashes Test at Lord's on Thursday they will be looking to wipe out 75 years of hurt. For, incredibly, England's last win over their great rivals at the home of cricket was back in 1934. There have been 18 matches since England's last win, with Australia winning nine of them, including five of the last six. And that victory in 1934 was England's only success in the 20th Century. MooNoi
Munchie.... can I ask... Being a Scot, why are you so into cricket??? I know you play it up there a BIT, but I didn't think there were many cricket fans in Scotland.
The_Munchmaster
Agreed, cricket is not big in Scotland, but I enjoy watching many sports and, thanks to Ian Botham, cricket is one of them. I even support England when they play!
MooNoi
Well, tonight is the start of the second test, and as Munchie has pointed out, the Old Dart has not beaten Australia there at Lords since 1934. Can't see it changing this test either. The toss is going to be vital, I think. Wicket looks like a good batting wicket and taking spin in the last couple of days. Andy Flintoff announced his retirement today, effective after this series. Could have been a "great" in the mould of Botham if he didn't have so many injuries during his career. Doesn't even know if he'll play in this test match.
MooNoi
Second test under way... The Composite Side batting after winning the toss again. I can't believe that The Composite team left Harmison out... that's one decision that's going to backfire bigtime IMO.
devils reject
Mitchell Johnson is taking an early hammering, 53 of 8 overs! England are looking solid, looks like this could be a high scoring first innings for them.
