expat
It's called Thais 4 Life and it's in the gay section near Sunee Plaza. http://www.thais4life.com/
robaus
I have frequently bought and donated books to Thai4Life... a worthwhile cause. Trouble is I have to hold hands with my Kiwi mate who lives nearby when I visit the shop so that we don't get molested by rent boys.
khunsanuk
Hi, "KS - thanks for the link to aNobii - never even thought about an online personal library. Already started on mine." No problem. I really like this service. Especially the ability to get recommendations and see what other people with similar tastes are reading is great. Sanuk! khunsanuk
Hi, "Have you tried Craigslist?" Just visited and came close to posting, but decided against it. I don't really want to deal with loads of people interested in buying 2,3,4 books. Not worth the time to go meet them. Would really prefer to sell the lot (or at least a good chunk) in one go. Sanuk! Pom Michael
http://www.anobii.com/group_owner Meaningful conversations are hard to come by. So join groups. Talk to like-minded people, people who share your passion, people who care about what you care about. If you can't find one you like, you can always start your own. Start a Thai360 group! danno6
I used to frequent a used book store in the US. Their policy was that they sold books for 1/2 the list price. If you wanted to sell your books to them, they would pay 1/3 of what they sold it for. So, a book that cost B280, they would sell for B140, and would pay you B45 for if you returned it. Also, they wouldn't pay you cash...just a store credit. So, maybe what they are paying you isn't too bad??
khunsanuk
Hi, Might not be a bad idea, but unfortunately I used a different name when I started my account and I'd rather not associate it with KhunSanuk. Could set up a new account though if there is enough interest? Sanuk!
