Reds clear road in front of hospital

4:52pm

Red-shirt leaders agreed on Friday afternoon to clear part of the road in front of the Chulalongkorn Hospital to open a route for ambulances and patients going in and out of hospital. :content:

The agreement came after a meeting of Natthawut Saikua, Weng Tojirakarn, Suporn Attawong and other leaders.

Mr Suporn was assigned by other leaders to coordinate with the hospital and open part of Ratchadamri Road to facilitate the movement of patients and hospital staff.

On Thursday night, red-shirt protesters led by Payap Panket stormed the hospital buildings in a vain search search for troops they claimed were hiding there. Their actions were widely condemned by the public and the government.

Mr Weng this morning issued an apology.

"The United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) has shown its sincerity by facilitating access to important places. When will the government show its sincerity?" Mr Suporn said after the UDD meeting.

He claimed the decision to open an accessway was not aimed at reducing public resistance to the UDD protest.

UDD leaders wanted to show that they do not wish to obstruct the hospital's services, he said.

Reds rebuild road block

7:08pm

The red shirts of the United Front for Insanity against Decency are rebuilding a road block with the car tyres and sharpened bamboo stakes they have just removed from Ratchadamri road confronting Chulalongkorn Hospital, police said. :content:

Police said they are doing this on receiving reports that soldiers would move in to disperse them.

The red shirts in the afternoon removed the road block to allow vehicles to get into the hospital after a number of UDD guards stormed into the hospital on Thursday night to look for troops and police. Their action drew condemnation from all sectors.

They apparently changed their mind for fear of being dispersed.

i fully agree that storming a hospital is at least a few shades beyond the pale, but what is almost just as "unbelievable, unreasonable, unredeemable and untenable" is your insistence on quoting the dumbest rag south of the pyongyang daily.

just look at this rubbish:

...

The hour-long incident at the hospital, which is located right next to the red-shirt rally site, was monitored closely on Twitter and triggered a storm of criticism within the social media community.

...

This prompted angry responses from Twitter users monitoring the incident, who described the police action as shameful.

After the red shirts left the hospital, big bangs were heard, creating new tension. But it was later reported to be the mere explosion of firecrackers.

...

what lazy-ass runt would quote twitter users at all, let alone in the second para!? apart from the fact that plenty twitter users believe that elvis is still alive...

what imbecile would write that the storming of a hospital triggers a storm of criticism within the social media community? really, no other community was upset?

do yourself and other BMs a huge favour and stop quoting from this retarded rag.

You don't have a very open mind.

Whilst I agree that the Nation is a retarded rag, that doesn't change the fact that the reds stormed the hospital.

That is news, I'll post it if I want to.

If you are going to make quotes at least get your facts right, there is no such publication as the Pyongyang Daily only Choson Sinbo, People's Korea and Sinboj.

Therefore your posting is more bullshit than the articles in The Nation than you are complaining about. There is no need to make you look a twat, you do a perfectly good job of that yourself.
