pasathai1
if they brig in the UN, any killing or major destruction can be blamed on a 3rd party. more or less time makes this a reality any cause fades fast when hunger takes over. Pom Michael
Someone should take up the challenge. 35 "unarmed civilians" killed. Let's find names/backgrounds of all 35 and see what they were doing at the time of their demise. We can skip Seh Daeng - what about the other 34? LizardKing
We know at least three were medics. Here are a few dead soldiers: http://twitpic.com/1otgkq

LizardKing
Very good catch. They are passing that pix around in "red land." The caption says that these are soldiers killed by their own because they refused to shoot at reds.
Julian2
Do you think it's not a possibility? If the protesters are from the rural poor, paid or not is irrelevant, where do you think most of the soldiers are from? Why do you think Anupong is sitting on his hands. Would any military officer worth his salt give orders that he thinks may not be obeyed?
Pom Michael
That tweet shows the original photo was from south Thailand.
LizardKing
No I do not. But you'll believe anything it seems. FFS, you just documented the pix as coming from the South conflict. I suppose you believe that the police are firing on the army and Newin hired Khmer mercenary soldiers to be snipers to create chaos too? Those a but a few of the more silly rumours flying about in "red land."
Nervous God
Newin's on your side now, who'd we trade for him?
cavanami
About noon time today, all the TV stations aired a discourse by the police and army. They showed pictures and videos that were meant to prove that the police and the army were not doing the killing. They had one video where "protesters" (or whoever they were) stormed an army vehicle, beat the crap out of army personnel and took the truck and the weapons. Some nasty things going on out there!
