drogon
Does someone have a decent hotel to recommend, close to the United Nations LRT (the company is just at the crossroads)? Pearl Manila hotel seems the closest and Manila Pavilion hotel is just a bit further but the reviews are not so good. Thanks for the help
The_Munchmaster
Do you need any advice on getting married in the Philipines?
Nervous God
UN there does look after the region so he's in the right spot. HOWEVER If he's looking for rice or money, the IRRI and ADB are in the Philippines. For hamburgers Kao San is a short drive from there.
drogon
Well, thanks for making jokes about me but I am looking for an hotel close to the UN LRT. Had a look on otelrooms but the two closest ones don't look so great. I am willing to stay at an hotel further from the company but then I need the LRT (not the damn Manila taxis) Thanks PS: Munchie, A good Filipina would certainly make a better wife for a soft-hearted sucker like me than a Thai. Just that a virgin wife is not my cup of tea
USVirgin
The Pan Pacific and the Hyatt aren't too far away, maybe a 1km walk (also they are near the next LRT station to the south). The Manila Hotel is also pretty close. All three are on the expensive side, though.
drogon
Thanks USVirgin True the Pan Pacific and Hyatt are a bit too expensive, Manila hotel seems to have some pretty good rates. Any idea if the inter-continental location is good in regards to the UN crossroads please as they have a huge promotion? Thanks

drogon
Of course Shygye but this doesn't tell me how bad the traffic is or if the road is a one way one or if there is even a sidewalk...
Nervous God
And google doesn't tell the marriage rules. It does show some good churches. Drogon hate to tell you . . . . . . She's not a virgin. Mary that is.
