cavanami
Veggies are cheap in BKK. Picked up a large bag of onions, potatoes, broccoli, asparagus for 80 Baht...a smaller bunch of asparagus in the US would cost more then 80 B!!! Spuds One cant go totally native...lol You know, if you take a good handful of rice just after it has been cooked and it is cooling down, you can shape it into a potato shape and if you take a few of these and roast them in good dripping, they are just like dripping infused rice balls, nothing like potatoes at all
Flashermac
Fresh cooked rice can also be used as snowballs. Not the same though. Rice is even worse for trying to ski on.
