There would be no germany or him to rule it. Both america and the ussr "lost" wars in the modern era and neither felt compelled to entertain the idea. Flashermac Posted September 29, 2012 Report Share Posted September 29, 2012 You are forgetting that Hitler in his last days declared that Germany "was not worthy of him" and ordered the infrastructure destroyed - power plants, waterworks etc. He sent young boys out to fight and refused to allow civilians to flee from Berlin as the Red Army approached, causing tens of thousand to die or be gang raped by the Russians. He would definitely have tried to take the West down with him, if he could. The Japanese certainly would have used the bomb, and it is now known they had their own nuclear weapon programme. They had another to use germ warfare against the US. As Flash said, he went totally crazy in the end. And Hitler saw the Russians as 'subhuman beings', while he saw the Brits in a way close to the Germans... What was the difference? Hard to say. If Nixon hadn't effed up with Watergate and remained President, Hanoi might well not have attacked in 1975, in open defiance of the ceasefire agreement. With Nixon gone, they knew the US wasn't going to do get involved again and simply invaded the South with their entire military.
