You claimed reports like this were just right wing media blowing shit out of proportion or just making it up. You denied these people were operating within our borders and causing problems. I guess the bullshit stops when reality smacks you in the face? These people are a problem that has gotten out of hand, and it needs to be dealt with harshly. Illegals are not that serious a problem as many think. The real problem lays with those smuggling drugs etc. and the nastiest bunch is those who rob from the smugglers and rob and rape the illegals. These crimes, raping, robbing, etc. for the most part are crimes committed in the USA which most people don't give a shit if these criminals get caught or not. Even when the Arizona Rangers were first started, the Federal government didn't want to spend one penny here. Still holds true today. Now back to illegals. Most people only see the illegal issue but dismiss the illegal drugs being smuggled into the country and those characters who prey upon the illegals and the illegal drug smugglers. People in the USA want their drugs but the government says "NO!" We feed the dragon. Another Oxymoron. To enforce the illegal immigration laws will take money. Starting with emergency rooms, ANY contact with law enforcement, anyone receiving food stamps, WIC or whatever it is called, or any other gov benefit that is free. Require some sort of verification of citizenship. People will self deport and that won't cost much money, if any. Granted, motivating govt employees to work is tough and at least in California virtually impossible. But it is a question of political will and not money.
