Coss
Hello all, I've just installed Win 7 inside bootcamp on my Mac Unaccustomed as I am, to the merry party, that is Virus battling, could someone please give me a steer towards a Good free Virus software, suitable to protect the aforementioned Win 7 installation? Cheers and Win 7 appears to be quite good compared to Win NT/XP/Vista/98/95 etc Coss

Wallenda
Microsoft's own Security Essentials (free) has performed well in the tests they do on all the different anti-virus programs. (the tests that get cited in articles in those PC magazines) For free AV programs, Avira and AVG have been the best ones in recent yrs, now you can add MS's to that I think. I use Eset ($35 a yr) on my main computer and now use MS's on the 2 netbooks we have.

And I have never been infected. Well, my computer anyway! I've had worms and such but for 30 baht pharmacy gave me some ointments.
