I can advise that the road from Suvarnabhumi to my Sukhumvit hotel minibar looks quite nice indeed - good road, big sky, nice tollbooths. From that point on, though, things are pretty murky... the place is very fuzzy and sometimes whole sections of the day seem to have gone missing, whole days at a time, in some cases... Ah, and to think, I'd never done the penthouse airport pickup thing until now, and it now may be too late... life's little tragedies... I thought the answer MUST be alcohol, but now you are telling me otherwise. I dont smoke or take illicit substances - not interested in gambling either beyond the odd Lotto ticket.
