Happy New Year

Quiet one here, spent yesterday evening socializing with a good-hearted expat friend and his kind family, away from the chaos. Was a refreshing change of pace, though had several drinks. ;)

Woke up, went for a run, drank a beer, studied. A little. Contemplated life. Happy that the high season is winding down, now I can really enjoy the city.

2013. Get busy living...

Or get busy dying.

:) (shooting for option 1).

Happy New Year to all :(

quiet one for me,may not sound much to some but it was my 26th day after detox without a drink.

sat in the garden with some homemade curry and freshly squeezed orange juice watching my cats playing, very enjoyable.

hope everyone has a great 2013.

Well done Sayjann! now for the greater evil! to do something about those cats - :stirthepo:p:biggrin:

And happy new year to all of you fellas - I just got back from a few days up country - very enjoyable - Best wishes all.....

Happy New Year everyone. Its the same old for me, with two years until my wife's youngest starts college. We will see about the 18 year old boy this semester (I'm not counting on miracles). My New Year's resolution is to do something that I haven't done in 42 years; get a through physical exam in July during my month in LOS. Gambling is my problem and I haven't been to a casino in 5 years and have no intention of going to one.
