cavanami
It will take several generations to root out all the corruption! To insist on reform before the election is appealing but maybe 1 ~ 5% can be rooted out, at least a start!!
waerth
At least they want to give it a go ... as opposed to the Shins they want to keep the status quo.
cavanami
Mr. T had much of the corruption stamped out...that is the corruption he was not profiting from...so the rumors go This protest is costing someone, most likely so group, a pile of $$$ and not "on the books" money, so to get the black money out of a company takes some months, meaning this protest has been in planning for maybe six months, maybe more! For sure, the corruption goes to the highest level(s) in the country...

Flashermac
In the 1970s, the price was said to be 20,000 baht under the table. Of course, 20,000 back then was like 200,000 today. I knew one Air Force career NCO who got his for free, since he married the provincial police chief's daughter!

buffalo_bill
I'm sorry you lost valuable time and didnt even come up with anything much except reciting what most already knew.. Sir , no time has been wasted . As side -effect of my Thai related studies I found 17 escort agencies I have never heard of before , estimated 54700 Thai women offering happiness and marriage based on love and supported by photos in bikini at the beach most likely in Pattaya . Plus two women offering unprotected anal sex to gentlemen who appear to be " clean " . Against payment I assume . Over to you
