Thoughts from an award winning Thai artist ...

- We must change people to stop admiring the rich. The rich should be suspected of being thieves who are corrupt or sell ya baa (amphetamine) because there is no way that salarymen earning B15,000-B30,000 could ever able to buy the kinds of mansion they live in.

- Red shirts are hypocrites. The government and the legislators tore down the constitution by proposing that notorious amnesty bill. But now the government and red shirt academics are saying they must stick to the law of this constitution and that is why the new elections must happen in 45 days.

- Red shirt cronies such as Weng Tochirakarn are just dogs who want to get rid of feudalism. But then they will oust Thaksin and make the country socialist.

Why would they want to? They have quite enough to do as it is.

Bt500,000 rewards for info on grenade attack suspects

Police are offering a Bt500,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man seen on surveillance-camera footage throwing a grenade at the anti-government rally site at Victory Monument on Sunday afternoon, Bangkok police chief Pol Lt-General Camronwit Toopgrajank said Monday.

An arrest warrant will soon be obtained for the man, who Camronwit said was not a naval special-operations officer, as was earlier rumoured after a mugshot of a different, wrongfully implicated person was distributed widely on social media.

Don't you have to know the name of a person to issue an arrest warrant for them? You can seek suspects and perpetrators, but for a warrant aren't they named?

Or is it, "This is an arrest warrant for anyone we can catch for a crime or crimes we haven't charged anyone with yet because we don't know their names". ?
