waerth Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 I do think this Belgium team might come far this tournament. And they had a great team in 1986!
teddy Posted June 14, 2014 Author Report Posted June 14, 2014 At least Luis will be getting a good rest this summer after that result. Costa Rica impressed me though. Is that Campbell lad still in contract with Arsenal?
limbo Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 Yes he is, apparently there are issues with his work permit.
limbo Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 .The England team visited an orphanage in Brazil today. "It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope," said Jose, age 6.
BelgianBoy Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 ...certainly not Belgium :neener: here is the FIFA ranking for you : http://www.fifa.com/...g/rankingtable/ :neener:
The_Munchmaster Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Luis Suarez gets 4 month ban for biting an Italian player. What is wrong with this guy, it's his 3rd biting ban! So he misses the rest of the World Cup and the first nine games of the 2014/15 football season. This will be the second time he's not been available for Liverpool because of bans. Fantastic player but what a twat. Mind you, if you are going to be a biter he's got the perfect teeth for it.
Mekong Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 IMHO the ban is too lenient, in Rugby biting is an Automatic 12 month ban, in Boxing Tyson lost his licence for biting Holyfield's ear and was banned for life later to be changed to 12 months on appeal. Even in UCF (cage fighting) most violent combat sport (I use Sport Lightly) anyone found guilty of biting is banned for life. I don't know who is bigger asshole Suarez himself or the "We are always the victims" Liverpool fans for trying to defend his actions.
