Coss Posted June 27, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2015 Can you cite the original source for the statement, Pollen and insect fragments being found in Ice, in the Middle and North of Greenland that dates from a time when CO2 levels were much higher. This is interpreted as Ice in Greenland being absent at this time. I'm asking because this sounds more like a strawman argument. The Greenland ice cores go back 150,000 yrs. I'm sorry I can't, I heard it on the radio, a Lady scientist it was and if memory serves, the time being referred to was the last warm period before the last ice age, though I could be wrong. 150,000 years is a quite a few ice ages for the ice not to melt between. I thought global warming would mean the melting of the ice caps and rise in sea levels or am I missing something, perhaps any board member who supports the theory of global warming could explain more ...
