cavanami
The debt will be transferred to the Greek citizens, who will have their bank accounts and wealth stripped from them! In the meantime, the azzhole bankers will walk away with their pile of $$$...same as what happens inn the USA...

Dexi
I would bet that most Greeks with substantial assets will have seen this coming and transferred their $ abroad long ago .....leaving just the lower classes, pensioners etc. to pick up the bill

Guest
Did read somewhere that the EU headquarters in Brussels employs over 30,000 axillary workers paid for by the citizens of other member countries. Add on the countless other jobs supplying and backup to this huge white elephant such as taxi drivers, restaurants, bars and other business all supplying the food chain, and this is a lot of people benefiting from the location of the EU headquarters being based in Brussels. Belgium being one of the founder members of the EU has done very well out of the headquarters being based there, new roads, buildings and infrastructure. So why not give a country such as Greece a chance and simply transfer the headquarters to Athens creating wealth and much needed jobs there. There would be a lot of unhappy people to give up this gravy train. But it would not really be that bad as those that loose their jobs in Brussels due to transfer, could easily be absorbed and reemployed in the numerous chocolate factories throughout Belgium. Dexi
So,the situation seems to be that Greece has huge debts that it can`t pay back,so obviously the solution is another baleout and giving them even more money that they can`t or won`t pay back, only this time with more stringent conditions that they won`t adhere to
My Penis is hungry
Let the Greeks use the money to stimulate economy, 90% last money was given to banks, helps no one
