Coss Posted August 4, 2016 Report Share Posted August 4, 2016 I once was witness to a man, backing his very expensive 25 foot (ish) boat down to the water. His car was a very new looking, large BMW. As he got out and attended to the boat trailer, the whole lot slowly slid into the water. Slime on the ramp too slippery for grip on tyres. So he goes off and gets a tractor, used for hauling boats and such, sometimes BMWs. As he's hitching a rope from tractor to BMW, it transpires he's not set the brake on the tractor properly, inevitably the tractor joins the BMW. Fortunately the Te Atatu Boating Club has another tractor, this, driven by a non BMW driver, eventually rescues the lot. BMW man standing off to one side, remarkably quiet.
